Our process
We start by understanding your unique needs and preferences, followed by developing a tailored design that captures your vision. Kick Off Meeting
This being the first step, our team’s primary focus is to get a grasp of the client’s ideas and desires to help visualize what they wish to accomplish with the space. We highlight the Client’s pain points as well to address any issues needing resolving from their desires. This is prided to be one of the most crucial stages as it sets the pace for the rest of the design process.
Design concept
This design stage involves site documentation and analysis. We take a record of the site’s assets/opportunities and constraints all the while exploring how the various spaces shared by the Client in the Kick-Off meeting can fit into the space. We develop ideas on how to maximize the opportunities and mitigate the challenges and constraints while addressing provision for the client’s desired spaces. To close this off, we make a presentation of the findings and proposals to the client to reconcile their space envisioned with the strategic placements of the different desired activities and how they relate with each other.
Scheme/Detailed Design
Our team then graduates the design to scheme level. At this point, the spaces are very clearly defined, and the client can see and appreciate what the vision of the space is developing to become. This can be expressed both in 2D or in 3D renders, building up from the space relations and placements established in the Conceptual Design Stage. The client is able to immerse themselves into the space, getting an appreciation of the spatial considerations, the look and feel of the landscape and material finishes to a virtually real extent as much as possible in comparison the desired finished product.
Construction Drawings and Bills of Quantities
At this stage of the project design, our team gets in the the very meticulous details of ensuring that all needed drawings for implementing the project are provided. This includes: Layout plan that articulates the extents of various finishes and structures on the ground as well as the various material finishes proposed. Grading plan which communicates the different levels proposed in the final design, from steps, to ramps and slope gradients. Planting Plan which articulates the various plants proposed to be introduces, where they are to be installed, how they are to be installed and how the soil is to be treated to ensure they develop as desired. We provide a detail of the spacing between each of the various plant categories. This is accompanied by a plant palette and a soft landscape Bill Of Quantities
